Title: Filtering users based on Group Names
Post by: GGowtham on 03 Sep 2013 06:39:43 AM
Hi,

I have developed a audit report for our reports using the Cognos 10.1 Package to check the usage by customers in the prompt page,
I have two filters
1) User Names and
2) Time Period.

The  problem here is when i try selecting the users in prompt page ,I am getting a huge number of user names who all have access in that particular server.

I need to display only those users who have access to our reports, We have 3 user groups (Developers,Consumers,Admin) in our project who have access to our reports,
How to apply that group filter for the audit report (User Names) list,I dont find any group data item in Audit PacKage.

Can anyone help me in filtering the user names in Audit report ...
Thanks in advance

Regards,
Gowtham

Hi,
You can set up group level security from framework manager.
If you are having a FM model.
Select a QS and then in properties Security filters set the group names.
