Title: Clearing the Cognos 10.1.1 job queue from content store

I want to apologize in advance for my lack of properly communicating the issue, as this is a new environment  for me and at learning stage.

We have jobs scheduled in Cognos that run on time and the finished report is then sent off to their respective recipients. The problem is that the job does not clear itself out as it should when the job is finished executing. It stays at executing  stage even when the report was successfully finished and delivered.

If anyone knows about this please help.

Although i think i may have to run SQL script in SQL server for Cognos  content store or something to this effect to clear the job. I'm not 100% on this and havn't done this in the past as i am very new to this and don't want to do anything without being sure about it.
