I understand the need for this, but the verification codes are very difficult to read. I usually have to re-request 3-5 times before I get one that's possible to decipher. Please make these first-time readable by a human being!

I agree.
Suggestion - Have verification codes during registration. Remove them for posting AFTER verification. I had to try it 4 times before i could post a reply. The codes are not clear, at least the images can be changed so they are clear.
Whats the point of having he same Qs everytime?

The Admins implemented the questions as a way to prevent spam bots from posting, I think. Many of the offending spam bot apps can successfully get through the registration process, but can't then post anything because of those questions. :)
As a human, once you've posted successfully the first time, you don't subsequently get the questions.
