Hi,
We just migrated to cognos 10.1, am trying to bulid a cube out of a Package or Report (Datasource)..
During cube bulid transformer hangs and there is no response.
Mine is a teredate base package/report, but if i try to bulid cube outot SQL server based package/report i could succeed without any issues.
Any suggestions are high appericated.

would you please check two things.
1)Check your package and create Query Studio report. If there is any problem in the package then u can point out here.
2)If there is not any problem then try to create one model which will extract the data from QS reports. ( This is to check there is no issue on Trasformer and package)
3)If your server is window 2007 then open the transformer as administrator and try to refresh the cube
How big is your cube/datasource? Are you sure it is hanging? Have you tried just letting it run for a while? Transformer can have long pauses during certain phases of the build where it may appear that nothing is happening. Depending on hardware and data size, this can extend out to several minutes.
