Title: locking issue...
Post by: Maple on 10 May 2007 10:48:18 AM
We are experiencing numerous deadlocking issues on the DB SQL Server 2000. When ever we run any report in cognos then the multiple processes started under user ids and they don't go away until we don't kill the processes manually. Our database loads are failed to run due to this locking issues. Is there any one who can help me with this issue...

Try changing isolation level on your database connection.

In Cognos Connection - Directory - Data Source, check your connection properties. One of the will be related to isolation levels.
