Title: MySQL DB updates not appearing in Report Studio reports

I'm running Cognos 10.2 with a smple MySQL db ...... I'm running reports via Report Studio - All OK!

I make a simple Report Studio report & run it - All OK. Then I make some data updates in the MySQL database, then re-run the Report Studio report, however the new data does not come through?

I have to close down Report Studio altogether & reboot server before the new data comes through? It would seem the connection remains fixed to the original data it started with & will not update unless the connection is refreshed ?

Can anyone advise ?

Do you have data caching enabled?

In Report Studio, go to the Query Explorer and select the query driving your list/crosstab/chart/map

In the Properties window, scroll down and find the "Use Local Cache" property - set this to "No"
