Hi,

CQM:

Use Local Cache, AFAIK, If this is Yes, data(sql result set) will be cached in session level, right?
If the cache is for session level, Does cognos support server level cache, for example, different people within different time can reuse data cached from the previous run

With CQM, no. The cache is per session per user.

Dear MFGF,

So as soon as the user logs out or session get expired, the cached reports data gets cleared ? is there a way we can set this to be available even if the session get expired, lets say keep cache for 24 hours. I have gone through documents but did not find anything. may u might know some workaround.

i have table which has over 40 millions records, and my reports hits this table, taking almost 15 minutes for each report to run.

i am using 10.1 version, CQM, DMR model. Please suggest.
