Title: ContributorAdmin console login issue

All,

we are having problem logging on to EP contributor admin console and analyst . its a single sign on .

but its keep prompting for authentication and the login screen is not going away.

please let me know if any one of you experienced the same issue

I haven't experienced this issue with Cognos but have you checked all your Provider information (ports, binding credentials, etc)? I had that problem on another system and it was a small typo in the credentials that caused the issue. That would be where I would start and then maybe check your ports/firewall configuration. Also are you able to connect with SSO disabled?

actually it was working before just recently stopped working.

Any changes on the system that may have had an impact like a security patch?

Hopefully someone who has experienced it will chime in with a response. Otherwise I would just drop SSO to test my authentication and then re-add it and check the logs.

If it's the Windows prompt screen for login (not Cognos), then it means that the credentials are getting stripped out.  Couple of things to check is that the website is in the Local Intranet sites in IE Security and that there isn't a firewall or proxy added between the client machine and the webserver

Well there were patches applied just before this issue happened, but we requested our network guys to uninstall the patches but still no luck.
This issue started on all the environments same time including test and production.

Yes the website is added to the trusted sites
Actually the gateway is on DMZ (outside the firewall) but this does have the trust with internal domain.
it was working fine before  all off sudden it stopped working and both planning and BI installed on same installation directory, the BI is working fine we only have issue with analyst and CAC on all environments (DEV, TEST, PROD).
