Title: Automating the Slider Filter for Updated Values in Cognos 10 Business Insight!!!

HI Gurus,

I have a slider filter based on year-month in Cognos Business Insight.  This report every time has six months worth of data.  For an instance you can see the values on the slider from 2013-01 to 2013-06.  Suppose if I am running the same report in August I want my slider fliter should be updated always with six months worth of data.  i.e., it should show me 2013-02 to 2013-07. 

Is it possible to automate the slider filter in Cognos BI?  If yes, how.  Since I did not see any option to update the slider filter automatically.  Other than updating the slider filter manually...

Anybody has any ideas?  Please share me at your convenience.

Hi,

Updating Cognos Workspace filter values interactively is one of the new features added in the 10.2.1 release I believe.
