We are migrating from Cognos 7.3 to 10.2. During migration, there are many excel dashboard reports, which are getting updated using Cognos 7 Powerplay Add-in in the excel. Which connects to .mdc and pulls data to excel spreadsheet. Add-in Name: PPXLServer.xla

Do we have same feature in Cognos 10.2 Powerplay client, add-in for Excel, or is there any alternate to do this in Cognos 10.2

In Cognos 10 the functional replacement for this is Cognos Analysis for Excel.

Cognos Analysis for Excel doesn't suit our requirement. There are pre - built excel dashboard, from dashboard, the dashboard will point to physical cube file (.mdc) built daily in the server. It will refresh the data to excel dashboard.

I have attached the screenshot for the same.
