About our opportunity:
Under the direction of the Manager of Business Intelligence, the Business Intelligence Developer II position is responsible for developing standard reports that serve the needs of our business users. This position must understand business requirements and use business intelligence tools to build high quality, standard reports.
Qualifications:
-3+ years of related managed healthcare or insurance operations experience
-3+ years experience working with Cognos BI tools and frame work models.
-Expertise with relational database concepts, data modeling and OLAP technologies.
Preferred/Desirable:
-Experience designing and developing database logical and physical data models.
-Experience managing data using ETL tools or scripting languages.
-Experience with SAS or SPSS.
-Knowledge of HEDIS, NCQA, DRG, DxCG or other healthcare data concepts.
Competencies, Skills, and Attributes:
-Effective collaborative and proven process improvement skills.
-Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to interact within all levels of the organization.
-A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
-Detail oriented, excellent proof reading and editing skills.
