Hi I need your help to resolve this error in IBM Cognos Transformer 10.2.
I need to generate the powercube without affecting the users which are connected to the Portal in the IBM Cognos Connection.
I have a batch file that generate automatically the prowercube, but when the users are connected to the Portal, the batch file doesn't work.
Please Help me...
This is probably happening because the cube is locked by the users as the cube is in use. Your batch file was probably written for an older version and is still using the same technique. From ver 8.4 onwards, Transformer has the ability to do versioining of the cube so neither the user gets effected not Transformer. The user guide explains how this works. Once the cube gets refreshed, the connection of the reports will be pointed towards the new cube.
