I am new to Cognos. Currently on Cognos 10.
My question: Is there a 'Median' calculation in Query Studio? If so, how can I find it?
I don't think you'll find that in Query Studio. If you are on Cognos 10 then why not consider moving to Cognos Workspace Advanced (or Business Insight Advanced if you are on 10.1)?
It is a single business user authoring environment for both dimensional and relational sources and is quite a bit more robust than Query Studio or Analysis Studio.
Hi,
You find a median at a summarize level just right click on your fact cell ( unit of measure) > click summarize then you will see in the drop down Median.
Thanks,
RK

Ah, summary level! Never thought to look there. I was thinking only of the calculations available within and did not see it there. Very good RKMI!
Thanks Lynn. :) By way good luck on your IOD Session.
