Title: New and shiny visualisations!
Post by: MFGF on 11 Jun 2013 04:49:01 AM
Some *very* interesting content over here on Analyticszone...

https://www.analyticszone.com/communities/service/html/communityview?communityUuid=03a2ed30-3407-4d0d-a7f6-340bc1d53f05#fullpageWidgetId=W0b0571302c51_4e90_a4a3_1e2e580df54d

It refers to a version of Cognos that doesn't yet seem to be released. ;)

Yep! 10.2.1 has now been announced! The new Visualisation Extensibility you see here is as a result of the RAVE graphics engine now embedded in Cognos 10.2.1. I will add a separate thread to link to the announcements around this.

Cheers!

Hi MF!  Is it possible to use the Visualizations with just 10.2 (as opposed to 10.2.1)?  If the answer is only in 10.2.1 due to needing the RAVE engine--any idea if there is a fixpack or something to get that into 10.2???  (We just installed 10.2 big sigh)

No fix pack, sorry. It's a Release Pack (RP1) which means un-installing 10.2 and installing 10.2.1
