Hi All,
I want to import distribution lists and contacts from an oracle database into Cognos Connection using SDK and then want to use that contact list in Cognos email functionality which is available by following:
Cognos connection> Run options > Advanced options> Run the report in background>Select delivery and there after selecting the email recipients, I want to see those contact and distribution list in Cognos.
So basically, users want to choose mail recipients in the Cognos from the existing address book which is maintained in a database
I had read somewhere that using SDK we can achieve that. This will involve configuring the system.xml files of Cognos.
Somebody please correct me if I am wrong.
Also it would be great if somebody can tell me how it can be achieved using SDK with more details onto it and how feasible will it be in context of further upgrades/patches
Other approaches are also welcome if any.
