Title: Report Doesn't Render Fully in Portal Tab

Hi,

I have a Report Studio report that acts as a home page.

When the report is ran on its own or the portal page is ran on its own it renders as per the top image in the attachment.
However when i add the portal page to the tot he portal tabs, so it appears as the home page by default it doesn't completely load.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening or have any solutions?

Hi All,

After a bit more investigation it seems to be any 'Background Effects' that fill and have a border are not rendering when the portal tab page is refreshed.

What version of Cognos 10 are you using? There were some issues with portal tabs not rendering properly on refresh with some of the earlier builds of 10. They should all be fixed in 10.2, though.

I am using 10.1.1 FP 1.

I am about to apply FP2 to see if that resolves it.

It was a little buggy in 10.1 but nothing like this.

I will be installing 10.2 this week so i will try on that too.

Good luck! Hope the upgrade solves the issue! If not, I guess a call to IBM is in order... :)
