I am sure this error comes up a lot, but I am at my wits end trying to figure out what the cause is..
I am creating a query in report studio with custom SQL. The code works fine on the database (Oracle 11g), and the only change is to put parameters in for fixed values.
I have taken out all comments, extra spaces, and aliased everything.
The query uses a full outer join in case that matters.
Any ideas as to what might be causing the response?
fyi - there is a button to copy errors to the clipboard, but that is never active.

??? Sorry.. again... Turned out that the Cognos database user didn't have access to one of the tables..
