We are running Cognos BI version 10.1.1. Recently we applied the Interim fix 2 for security exposure issued by IBM.
Before we applied the fix, a report studio report with 2 objects - a text box and a calculated date - exported to Excel 2007 displayed across merged cells, the entire width of the report.
After we applied the fix, the same report exported to Excel 2007 displays in 2 (unmerged) cells, 1 for the text box (column A), and 1 for the calculated date (column B).
Our user prefers the merged cell output. I would appreciate any suggestions! Thank you.
If the textbox and date are in a block, you can add then in a table in two different cells and then merge the cells.
Also, can you send the report XML so we will have a better look into it.
