Dears,

I am planning to start to learn SDK since I am a java developer before and It should be easy for me. But I want to know first about how powerful SDK is.

I have a report which takes some parameters(prompts). What I want to do is when I save the report output file(pdf, excel), the output file name is the parameter value user inputed to run the report.

I think without coding, this is not easy to implement. But I am not sure SDK or java script is able to do that?

Hi,

Through SDK you can do that .

First are you saving the report output in ContentStore or Filesystem ?

Both. As you said it is doable. So, the difference between target locations is using different API, right?

Is it possible we could do it just via Cognos Schedule?
