Title: Adding active reports to Business Insight workspace

I have been trying to add active reports to the business insight. But, when I try to add active report it says saved output is required. But, when I save the active report, it is saved at the local machine(client) and not in the server and so the saved reports are not displayed in the content pane of the business insight. I have configured all the permissions for the active report as well.

Is there any specific steps I need to follow before adding active reports to the business insight workspace?

Hi,

"saved output is required".  It mean in Cognos connection use Run with option (the Play Icon) in Delivery make sure you save the report  by default its set to View report now. Than you can add the report in a Business Insight Workspace after the report is finished running in the background.
