Title: How do I force 3 Pies across one row in 8.4?
Post by: cognos_guru on 24 Jan 2013 10:14:52 AM
Hi Everyone,

I am generating a pie chart that returns 3 pies based on category.  By default, it looks like report studio wants to display 2 pies on one row and 1 pie below.  I would like to show all 3 pies side by side.

Does anyone know how I can do this?

Thanks!

Hi,

Increase the size & overflow for width of the pie chart it will come on one row.

(or)

This is what I like to do Drag a table with 3 colmns. Than copy paste the same chart in each colmns and show one catagory per colmn. I get more control if want to add different palette or changing how the padding or titles are displayed, etc...

Thanks,
RK

Changing the size and overflow does not work... the result is a wide chart with very spaced apart mini pies.  Any other suggestions out there?  I have to generate a lot of pies in multiple repeater tables, so I'd hate to have to replicate each set of pies in a table.
