I'm testing a model that was recently moved from 8.4 to 10.1. I have a CAC macro that's taking an extremely long time to run. Narrowed the problem down to one C>A d-link. When I run the d-link in Analyst, it takes under 3 minutes. When I run it from a CAC Macro it takes 20 minutes.
The systems folks here have checked everything they can think of, and I tried rewriting the d-link but it still takes 20 minutes from CAC. Still waiting for IBM to come up with any solution or even anything else to try. The workspace size has been changed a couple of times - didn't help. Any ideas will be appreciated!
Hey Bronsonhg,
There were a number of defects identified in the context of C<A (and A<C) links, but your behaviour is slightly different. In the times I've seen it, it wouldn't matter where the link was run (manually in analyst, through an analyst macro (executed from analyst), or triggered from the CAC.
What is your exact version and build of planning being used?
