Is there a way to show on a generated report, where the report was generated from? Something like a file path? We have so many department folders and reports that sometimes it is really hard to figure out which report was generated by looking at it. If we could see something in the footer like a "Public Folders/HR/Monthly/New Hires" that would be amazing!

In Report Studio Drag and drop a layout Calculation and enter the ReportPath () as the expression. Please note this will only work when you run it in Cognos Connection. There are other functions you can explore which available when you use layout calculation and then going to the functions tab Report functions folder. So there is nothing that would display the cognos report file path on the excel version of the report?

You can add a "Text Item" from tool box into the report layout (where ever you wnat to disply in the report) and inside that you can paste the URL of the report or you can add the location of the report which shows in all formats.
