Is that possible on a crosstab to retrieve the item that is clicked when the drill down?

I'm still not sure what you mean? Drilling down effectively filters based on the selected drill member, and expands to the next level of the hierarchy. Can you describe exactly what you are trying to do?

I created a crosstab in report studio (cognos 8.2) (screenshot attached)
based on DMR.
My problem is that when I do a drill down for example on Site1 the level of
the axis Pages does not filter.
if I click on site1 I want to filter the data for report by site1
Is it possible to link axes to filter the data on other axes when the drill
down?

Why not just nest Pages alongside Site - that way, when you drill down on your site, the numbers for pages will inherit that context too.

One of the limitations of using a TOOL. Like most things in life it is ultimately a compromise. One of the nasty aspects is clarifying why the next best solution is supported and the best not ;)

Your user wants something the tool may not support. You conclude that THE solution does not exist. Cognoise tries to offer alternative approaches. That's about it ???
