Title: calculate rolling 6 months to-date period
Post by: tyody on 04 Apr 2007 10:58:18 AM
Is it possible to calculate a rolling 6 months-to-date relative time period in transformer.  For example, today is April 4th.  Current 6 months would be October 4 2006 - April 4 2007.  Prior 6 months would be April 4 2006 - October 4 2006.

Thanks

Just look up Transfromer PDFs on relative time periods. Rolling 24 months should not be difficult at all.

You need a time dimension, doesn't have to be wizard generated, and in dimension viewer start creating special categories. One of the options available is going to be relative N-Periods, or something similar. Let me know if you need S-B-S instructions.
