We are experiencing a very strange issue when we do the Report Scheduling in Cognos Connection(8.4v). Anytime we schedule the report it gives error message 'CNC-SDS-0413 There was a problem in executing the task'. Then after Renewing the Credential (1. Log into Cognos Connection 2. Click on My Area - My Preferences 3. Click on the Personal tab - under Credentials click on Renew the credentials) it works fine.
But the problem is, anytime we schedule the report we encounter with this problem and of course user are not happy with Renewing the Credential every time they have to schedule the report

Not sure, but I think there was a defect in scheduling fixed in either 8.4.1 or 8.4.1 FP1. What exact version of 8.4 are you running?
Plan B is that you (as the Administrator) schedule the reports initially, which will make you the schedule owner (ever though you are not the report owner). If your credentials are set not to expire, this might get you past the issue?

The USER would not accept this since they have to change the Schedule later, so they would require to do it on their own.
