Hi Frnds,

Iam having 4 user groups like GLobal,Region,Country and state.
My req is:

In my report prompt page Iam having 3 cascaded optional prompts for Region,COuntry and state.
I have implemented data level security in FM.
So wen Global User logs in,he can c all the regions Etc...
When Region User logs in he will see his region in Prompt.
Next the problem comes...
When Country User logs in he will not see any data in Region prompt,as he is a country level user.
As I mentioned earlier that my prompts are cascading ,the country level user can not select any value frm the country prompt as the region prompt is null.

I created seperate reports for the 4 groups to overcome this situation.For Ex:Country level user will have access to the which has only 2 prompts.(no access to other folders where Region reports exist)

Plz tell me any other alternative for this......

If the final filter is based on country, then allowing "country user" to see relevant ancestors, should not be a problem.

its not a prob...but as i hav join between my security table and geography table in FM,the country user will not be able 2 c his ancestors
