Hi All,

Currently we are going to install Cognos 10.1 verison to linux box, please provide the software requirement in details and which one is support to cognos 10.1

Like, web server,database,third party security.....etc

As per my knowledge

Web server - IHS 7
Database-Oracle
Sun one directory server

Its very urgent i need to provide details to my client.

You can always just Google "IBM Cognos Supported Environments" for your version of Cognos. I would be concerned you are installing a version that is a couple releases old.

Hi,

I would recommend to avoid 10.1 and directly go for either 10.1.1 or 10.2

Having been on 10.1.1 in AIX for the past 6 months or so I would recommend going straight to 10.2
