Hi,
Can some one help on cognos office connection configuration. After we follow the full steps for smart client we are getting Error Assembly name could not be found.

Here are the versions i am using.

Cognos 8.1.2 mr2
MS Office 2003.

It is working now finally. I am able to see the cognos report in word. But _AssemblyLocation is not working if i use URL. It is working with local path like c:\...... .

Can i have the solution for this.

Not really sure I understand your problem. But I guess, it is the setting in your Cognos Configuration. You may need to setup your Gateway and other locations as fixed IP address and not only the localhost.
