Title: How to hide a level in a dimension in Framework Manager (DMR) in Cognos 10
Post by: atnaatna on 03 Oct 2012 10:01:04 AM
All - just wondering how to hide a level in a dimension in Framework Manager while developing in DMR in Cognos 10.  In Cognos 8, there was a "Is Hidden" property for a level in a dimension, now that property is not available in Cognos 10 Framework Manager.

- Is this a bug in Cognos 10.1.1?
- Is there a work around or another development strategy?
- Am I totally missing something?

Any insight is much appreciated.

AFAIK 'is hidden' is a data item property , not a level property  ??

Can you describe what you are tyring to achieve? Sounds like you may need an alternate hierarchy in the same regular dimension which omits the level in question?
