Title: Need step by step install Cognos 10.1 onto Linux

Hi All,

I am very comfortable installing Cognos on Windows platform, however I am now currently trying to install Cognos 10.1 onto Linux, could you please share step by step instruction to install.

Quick rundown:
- install Java (Suggest using 1.6.0_33)
- setup JAVA_HOME
- have Xserver running if you are installing remotely (Ex. XMing)
- kick off installers
- update java env with bouncy castle file (bcprov-jdk14-134.jar)
- copy JDBC drivers to proper locations (If you are using something else for your content store IE. Oracle, DB2...etc)
- run Cog config and setup env, save config
- start processes
- done
