Title: Charts not displaying properly in Office 2010

I have a very simple report with a line chart which runs fine in HTML output. But when I select Excel 2007 and open it in Excel 2010 the chart is missing the x and y axes and axis labels. See screenshot attached. Has anyone else experienced this? Do you know if there is any workaround or solution or has IBM addressed this in a fix pack? Thanks.

Hi Greg,

Which version of Cognos 8 are you using. I have created same type of simple report with a line chart select run in excel 2007 and opened in excel 2010 in Cognos 8.4 and 10.1.1 but, don't get the issue you are facing. I'm guessing it was addressed.

I saw similar issue with cognos 8.4. But when I upgraded to 8.4.1 it was resolved.
MS office 2010 is not supported with cognos 8.4.

Thanks for the info guys. We're currently on 8.4 but in the process of planning an upgrade to 10.2 and so far testing in that environment it looks like the problem is fixed.
