Can anyone help me out with the following, before I start mailing IBM Support:
In C10.1.1 FP1 I'm no longer able to copy page headers between pages. Could anyone test out the following:
- Create a new C10 Reportstudio report using the List template.
- Select the page header
- Cut this page header
- Click on the page body
- Paste it again.
In C8.4.1 as expected the Page header is placed back... In C10.1.1 this does not happen with me.... Does this happen with you too?
I'm curious, maybe I've been experimenting too much under the cognos hood ;D

I never tried it in C8 but I tried just now in 10.1.1 and nothing happens when I attempt to paste it back in. I generally select the objects within the header, footer or page body for copy/pasting so never would have noticed this. The only exception is when I select the entire page to copy/paste.
Well... The option as described I always use. Set all settings once and then I just have to copy / paste it... Very simple...
So I'll have to do an enhancement request.
I noticed the lost functionality.
What I started doing instead was putting a block in the header and footer, and then using a layout component reference to that block on other pages. This also makes a report with multiple pages much easier to maintain.
Yes. That's one possibility... But I liked this option.... I want it back!!! :'(

No... To the IBM Most Urgent Needed Fixes Board... Sent it to the VP of IBM Cognos.. I want it fixed & I want it now :) Maybe there are some IBM Cognos persons who can do this??

For people having problems with copying and pasting component reference layout objects from one report to another (for example for header templates) like I have with 10.1.1:
Workaround is:
In the target report:
- Add one component reference object that adds an object from the target report
When that item is added you can now copy all items from the source to the target report where the source report has a link to the target report reference object.
You can now delete the temporary reference object from the report and you're set.
Quite a workaround for what is obviously a bug!
