I have created a dashboard with 6 similar widgets, each widget has 2 prompts asking for the same information, the prompted info is not shown in the widget.
I have used the dashboard toolbox which will allow me to filter on data shown in my widgets
and have included the query called _BusinessInsight_ into the original report for invisible filter requirements.
I then dragged 'select value' filters from the dashboard toolbox onto the dashboard and set them to the now visible extra filter options.
My problem is that the new filters on the dashboard only show one value each rather than the whole list of values.
What did I miss out?
;D
As well as having the extra filter items in your _BusinessInsight_ query, did you remember to add the items to the query driving your widget item too? The items need to be in both.

MF.
Thanks MF
I dont think that is the issue, as I get a prompt to load the latest report version whenever I open the dashboard.
However.
When I drop the report onto the dashboard, im asked for the connection to use and the parameter value.
so it seems the dashboard can only see the values I have given rather than going back to the database to see all of the available values, is there a way around this.
It seems that the way to do this is to remove the prompts from the report and add the required fields to the _BusinessInsight_ query subject, drop the report onto the dashboard and then add the 'select value' filters from the dashboard toolbox onto the dashboard.
