Title: Output Filters
Post by: wyconian on 26 Jul 2012 03:52:49 AM
Hi guys

Does anyone know how to remove an output filter from a fact build?  I've taken out all the code so it's just an empty filter but I'd like to remove it if possible.

Thanks for your help :)

Go into the properties of the Fact Table Delivery, navigate to the Filters tab, and select '(None)' from the 'Delivery filter' dropdown.

Cheers!

Thanks I did that so everything works OK but the previous filter still shows in the drop down list.  It's not really important, I was just trying to 'tidy up' and wanted to get rid of the previous filter from the list.

The reason for this is that the filter is available for use in multiple deliveries - not just the one you defined it in. As long as your current delivery has (None) selected, no filtering will be applied during the delivery.

Cheers!
