Hi 'all!!
We updated to Windows 7 & IE 9 a week or so ago...we are on Cognos 8.4.1
Reports that used to open in IE 8 & Win XP that are .csv no longer open... I do not have any toolbars/ and popups are off...Excel 2007 format, HTML, and PDF open fine. When I run a .csv nothing happens....when I run on my other PC, I briefly see the window (like how the Excel would flash with popup block on or popup on toolbar on)...
Suggestions?

This is related to IE 9 and not Cognos. Tweak your security settings in IE...Internet options/Security. You might want to add your Cognos website as a trusted site.
Cognos is a trusted site (has been since IE7)....and it still doesn't work.
I know this is an IE9 issue....just not sure how others are getting the CSV's to open in notepad with IE9 :(
