Hello All,

My name is Adnan. I work for a federal organisation in Australia. We have just upgraded to Cogns 10 and this morning I noticed the following error message when I tried to open up Cognos 10,

Exception occurred: java.lang.IncompatibleClassChangeError

So I was wondering if anyone has encountered any problem like this. Any solution or advise would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

Restarting Cognos has solved the problem..  ;D

Hi,

I've got the same problem, restart doesn't change anything :(

Could anyone help mi with this?

Which Application server are you using?

While restarting did get rid of this error, it has now occurred a second time (after few months of the first).

I'm running EP10.1 on a Win 2003 OS. The install uses the default application server - Tomcat.

Would appreciate any ideas on getting rid of this error forever
