Title: How can i set default values in value prompt?

Hi Gurus,

I have a value prompt, which has options like HYD,BGLR,CHE,MUM,DEL....etc.
each time when i run the report value prompt has to take the values HYD , BGLR by default. how can i do this?

In Property Panel - > Default Selections ---> then write your default value

Hi Sekhar,

As u told i have given a default value for my value prompt. but no change when i run the report. it has not taken that default value

Make sure that the default selection value you type in matches the use value, not the display value.

Also, is your data source a Relational DB? or OLAP? if you're using a cube, you'll need to set the defaults by using the MUN's (Member Unique Names).
