I have a simple list in the report with the following columns

Order# | Account# | Date | Sales$ | SalesQty

I have a total line at the bottom of the list including totals for Sales$ and SalesQty. I have merged Order#, Account# and Date cells in this total line. I want to conditionally hide (box type none) the Account# column in some circumstances however I can't hide its footer cell since it is included in the merged cell. Asside from reordering the columns can someone recommend a solution?

Put the field inside a block and use a render variable on the block.
