Hi ,

For a list report i  need to have single header for 2 or 3 columns , how can i do it .

Please take the refrence of the attachement and guide how can i do it.

Create a header
Split the cell of the header
Merge the cells of you want and you will have the desire outcome

Play of the property of the list "Column Titles" to place the column titles of the list whereever you want

I tried to do it , but my Cognos version  Cognos 8.2 and its not working as I am not getting Merge options enabled ...

So please guide on this thanks for the Suggestion :)

Hi ,

1) Create list page header,
2) then go to structure  menu select insert list cells above /below
3) then u can merge cells which is in structure menu
4) now u can delete list page header
5) if u want main header to hide/get it down select the entire list in under general properties "column titles"u can select it to at the start of details/ hide it

Thanks its working , if i want 3 to 4 headers to be there in the same list and few other columns which are independent needs to be added should come in the same row where the header comes . How can i do it any idea on this ...

HI ,

For 3 or 4 headers u can use option add list row cells how many u need,
in the "classes" property u can apply  list header  to it.
