Title: (TR1901) PDS-PPE-0059 PowerPlay Data Server could not find a record (Level)
Post by: mrcool on 19 Mar 2012 05:22:57 PM
Hi All,

I am facing following error ((TR1901) PDS-PPE-0059 PowerPlay Data Server could not find a record (Level))at the final stage of the cube build process while building the incremental cube. I have tried  the options like include categories always.. But it didn't work. After detail analysis I identified that the problem is with the time dimension with alternate drill path. Removing that alternate drill path is resolving that issue. Could you please help me in solving this.
More Info:
Intial build-Success
First Increment-Success
Second Increment-Failed.

Please let me kow if any further information is required.

Thanks,
MC

These should help:
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21348381

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/c7bi/v7r5m0/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.swg.im.cognos.pp_sbs_trns.7.5.0.doc%2Fpp_sbs_trns_id14010AlternateDrill-DownPathsinTimeDimens.html

But honestly, I would suggest avoiding alt drill paths in the time dimension.

Thanks Grim..

I thought the problem is with the alternate hierarchy but the problem is with the 'Fiscal year' which is starting from 20070701. With regular calendar this is working fine..
Any thoughts?

Thanks..

I had a problem with a date alternate drill path that I was able to resolve with help from Rob. Not sure if your situation is comparable or not, but thought I'd point you to this thread in case ....

Hi Arsenal,

There is no data for prior YTD but if that is the case it should throw that error from the 1st increment itself but I am getting this error for second increment.

Thanks

I have raised a PMR with IBM and IBM agreed that it is a defect with cognis 10.1.1 . I will update the status once I hear something from them.

Cheers,
