Title: excel saving as 2 rows
Post by: fn4029 on 01 Mar 2012 01:27:25 PM
Hello,

When I run report in report studio and output to excel 2007, is there a way to keep the column to one row? No matter what I try, can't get report to save to one row, uses 2 rows for columns that have long entries even though column size is big enough (pls see attached screenshot, I want example 1 and 3 to look like example 2).  I tried changing Positioning/Size & Overflow to 100 in, Font & Text/Spacing & Breaking to Keep all, etc. but nothing working.   Thanks for help!

using Report Studio 8.4 and Excel 2007, column is Varchar257

Thanks!

Thanks Grim!

this is great forum. I used to have access to Cognos Support, but think this forum is much better!  I just have to get the Cognos Admin to put this thru.

Thanks again!
