I need to create TOC/Bookmarks in multi page report. I am sure that reports created with Bookmarks will not work with Excel2002 output. I dont have access to 2007/2010. Please let me know whether Cognos 8.3 is compatible with MS Excel 2007/2010 WRT to Bookmarks/TOC.
I found the below link but I was not quite sure about this, as the same details were shown for Cognos 10 also.

If it's not listed there in your link it is assumed "Not supported". However that's not to say you can't use it. You may have to do some tweaking but you should be okay.
The only problem you wuill have is if you try and raise and issue with IBM Cognos Support you will need to reproduce the issue with a supported software platform. Otherwise they cannot raise it as a bug to be fixed.
That said if you want Office 2010 support you will need to move to 10.1.1.
