Title: Join three table via an Expression Filter
Post by: jcuiskelly on 25 Jan 2007 03:37:15 PM
Does any know how to join three tables with out using an SQL statement?Ã,  This is what I am trying to do.Ã,  I need 'Y' from table 'CC' and Table 'AA' has nothing in common with Table 'CC'.Ã,  So, I am trying to use Table 'BB', which has common fields between Table 'AA" and Table 'CC'.Ã,  'X' from Table 'AA' equals 'X' from Table 'BB', 'Y' from Table 'BB' equals 'Y' from Table 'CC'.

Hi,

I don't think this is possible from within Cognos Query.  The joins would need to be set up in Architect then the package republished.

Regards,

MF.
