Is it possible to write a script or use any Cognos script feature to populate all the screen tips for the query items in a model from an excel spreadsheet (don't want to type in each one of them have around 200 query items)

You could use:

A). BMT Script Player with an XML payload
B). MetaManager with copy and paste ...
