Title: CSV removing duplicate columns

I have a list report in Cognos 8.3 in which I have the same column twice, once at the start and again towardws the end.
When I export as an Excel file, I get both columns but when exporting as a CSV, it only appears once, the second instance is removed.

Why is this and what should I do to fix this?

In CSV, the columns are rendered based on what data items you have in your Query, NOT based on what you have in your list.
