I am having a crosstab containing Main-category,Category,sub-category in rows and fy2010-11 and fy2009-10 which contains revenue as columns.
I want to calculate difference only for Category named Fixed Assets in Place for Total(Sub-Category)
I used the running-difference func but displaying an error.
RSV-VAL-0034 Failed to validate the variable String1
I also used the string var to calculate the diff for Fixed Assets
Need your guidance.

Net (Cat ie Fixed Assets) 10
I am having Main-category,category and sub-category and FY10-11(revenue column)
In crosstab or List I am able to achieve the aggregate or total as shown for main-cat A
in the entire list or xtab
What I want is only B catgory to be calculated as diff as shown (g and f) and rest all catg to be cal as total or aggrgate.
This is balance sheet I am creating.
I am able to do diff but it is giving me for entire rep.
I only want diff to be displayed only for say Category B.

But then what if main cat B has sub-category f,g and h ?

I am having only F and G currently.
What I tried is using running-difference func to achieve the same.
Also using Conditional Block My data is coming incorrect and entire column goes for running-count.
If sub-cat is having f,g,h then I may use the running-difference func.
Because there is no difference calculation from the aggregate property.
Need your guidance
