Title: Reject Rows to file
Post by: SynexusStuart on 18 Jan 2012 10:52:40 AM
All,

In Data Manager, I have all my Fact builds set to send reject rows to a file. This has always woked fine and seems very simple.

unfortunately, I have just created some new fact builds and even though the audit is telling me that some rows were rejected, there is no .rej file in the specified location.

Is there a setting I may have inadvertently changed which has stopped this working? Is there anything that would prevent this from working?

I have re-checked and double-checked that I am looking in the right file path so it's not that.

Very frustrating as I have now got to go and manually identify the rows and work out the reasons wht they were rejected.

Please help!
Stuart

Hi Stuart,

If you go to the properties of your build and look on the Input tab, how is the 'Reject record handling' set? There is an option "Don't write reject records" - make sure this is not selected. If the build is set to reject to file, what file name is set by default?

Cheers!

MF.
