how the transformer works ?
what are the difference between transformer 8.3 and 10 ?.
If we need to upgrade to transformer 8.3 to 10 what are the steps need to do ?.
1. Transformer is used to extract data from data sources, model the data dimensionally, and build one or more powercubes from the dimensional model.
2. Very little has changed between 8.3 and 10. If I recall, 8.4 saw improved methods of publishing updated cubes while online, and there are some performance enhancements to cube build times in 10.
3. To be safe, save your models as mdl files in 8.3, install 10 then open the mdl models in 10 and save as the normal binary format. Then test, test test :)

pls expain me in brief wat are all the things differ in transformer 8.3 and 10..:)
What i came to know is..updation of cube,moving the cube to aother location is automated.....what i want to know s ..any other advantage and difference . . any one found it ?

That's pretty much it as far as I am aware.
