Title: Scheduling report with generic email account.

Hi all,

I need help with a report and its scheduling. We have a report which is owned by A and also scheduled the report to email out to the users. So the users get the email of the report as 'A@abcd.com'.
We want to change that to a more generic account as 'B'. We want to send the email as 'B@abcd.com'. How do I do it.
I am on Cognos 10.1

Please advice.

hi,

you want to change the emailadress? -> my area, schedules, properties settings for the burst, change email adress...
or what do you mean by a more generic role?

If it is changing about owner say from A to B then login to cognos with B's Account and then go to the schedules in IBM Cognos Administration and then locate the schedule, select the drop down arrow and then select modify the schedule option.
Now at "credentials:" click on "Use my credentials" link, it will change the owner from A to B and then at send the report by email checkbox group in "delivery: " click on "Edit the options" link to change the email addresses as B@abcd.com.
